The speaking industry is centered on the relationship between speakers and the organizations who hire them. At Next Day Impact, we believe a bureau’s job is to empower that relationship to be more effective, transparent, and successful for both parties.

Collectively our founding team has decades of experience working in the world of speakers and bureaus, both as speakers ourselves and coaches/development experts for others. Each time, engagement with speaking bureaus has been a consistent pain point for both speakers and event planners.

For years we have been told that bureaus are confusing, that speakers and planners don’t know which bureau to pick or how to get a bureau’s attention in the first place. Once they do, they feel as though they’re not being looked after — or that they’re not even understood as a speaker or planner.

That’s when we realized: the way things are done isn’t how they have to be done.

There’s nothing about the speaking industry or the speaker-bureau relationship that needs to be difficult, frustrating, or unpleasant. A speaker bureau can empower speakers’ careers while bringing joy and clarity to the process of choosing a speaker. It can invest the time and attention to serve every individual, without sacrificing the broad connections that make bureaus so essential.
